# ARTSABERS — Project Brief

Brand-context source of truth for the ARTSABERS redesign. Bootstrapped 2026-07-01 from the reframed Brand Profile Draft v1 (2026-04-30). Ingested to design CPT so downstream engine skills (`/palette`, `/tf-design`, section walk) can consume it.

**Positioning is reframed. The old “in-stock, 2-3 days, US warehouse” model is retired. Current model: factory-direct, global 7-10 days, catalogue breadth + customer service as lead differentiators.**

## Identity

**Brand name:** ARTSABERS (rendered all caps in prose; slug `artsabers`, domain `artsabers.com`).

**Tagline (primary):** *”From factory floor to your door.”*

**Tagline rotation** (approved alternatives for OG / sub-heads / ad lines):
– *”Hundreds of sabers. One trusted retailer.”*
– *”The replica saber catalogue, built for fans.”*
– *”Real sabers. Real support.”*

**Mission:** Bring the broadest replica saber catalogue to fans worldwide — every character, every Saber Core tier, every duelling grade — backed by responsive customer service that doesn’t disappear after the order ships. Where most factory-direct shops sell-and-forget, ARTSABERS stays.

**Audience:** Star Wars fans aged ~18-45 buying for self. Three explicit sub-personas:
– **Collectors** — display, completionism, premium tiers ($400+)
– **Duelists** — build quality, heavy-duelling spec, durability
– **Cosplayers** — movie accuracy, character-faithful, accessory bundles

**Primary markets:** US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. UK + EU served via sister brand Saber 66 (geo-modal redirect).

**Attitudinal markers:** Experience-seekers (“your saber isn’t just another purchase”), burned by other dropship shops where support disappears after payment, tech-curious (Bluetooth app config, sound fonts, Xenopixel/Proffie literate). Reassured by visible customer-service commitment (24-hour response, named single point of contact post-purchase). Spend tolerance $60-$725 with central mass at $200-$550.

## Voice

**Long-form:**

ARTSABERS writes fan-to-fan. The founder lived the fantasy and the brand never forgets that. Copy is confident, technical without being gatekeepy, and **service-proud** — every page that touches the post-order experience talks about responsiveness, real humans answering, a named single point of contact, and a 24-hour initial response window. The brand doesn’t pretend to ship from a domestic warehouse — sabers come direct from the factory, and the brand is honest about the 7-10 day window. What it *does* claim is that the catalogue is broader and the support is better than the typical factory-direct shop. The villain isn’t the dropship model itself; it’s the dropship shops that take payment and disappear.

Product copy is two-voiced: a technical front-end (Saber Core tier, blade type, sound fonts, app connectivity) followed by a “History” section that treats each saber as a story object — pulling from canonical Star Wars lore for character replicas, and inventing modern-sci-fi-aesthetic backstories for original ARTSABERS Exclusive designs.

Tone is warm but not cutesy. No manufactured urgency, no “ONLY 2 LEFT”, no review-begging, no “premium” overuse — they say “high-quality” instead. Spelling is light British (“favourite”, “colour”) despite the US-led market positioning, reflecting the UK ownership (Nerdworks). The brand assumes the reader knows what an Xenopixel is and what a soundfont does; jargon explanations are reserved for genuinely confusing buying decisions.

**Tone descriptors:**
– Confident
– Fan-to-fan
– Service-proud
– Technical-but-warm
– Honest about timing (explicit 7-10 day acknowledgement)
– Experience-framing (the saber is an experience, not a purchase)
– Mildly British in spelling, US-led in market posture

**Signature phrases:**
– “your saber” (possessive — *”your saber isn’t just another purchase”*)
– “from factory floor to your door” (anchor phrase for delivery timing)
– “every character, every Saber Core, every duelling grade” (catalogue-breadth triplet)
– “hundreds to choose from” (volume claim)
– “real customer service” / “real support” (differentiator anchor)
– “24-hour response” / “named single point of contact” (CS evidencing — concrete, repeatable)
– “we’re here when something goes wrong” (post-order trust signal)
– **Saber Core** (brand-distinctive term for the saber’s electronics — “soundboard” cross-reference kept only in spec tables and filter labels for cross-shopping clarity)
– “collectors, duelists, and cosplayers” (three-persona triplet)
– “high-quality” (preferred over “premium”)
– “ARTSABERS Exclusive” (for original designs)
– “the galaxy” (gentle SW-fandom tag — *”we bring the galaxy to you”*)

**Forbidden phrases** (visibly not used):
– “in stock” / “stocked” / “stocked in the USA” *(retired positioning)*
– “fastest” / “fastest shipping” / “fast and free” *(speed is no longer the claim)*
– “2-3 days” / “in days” *(timing is 7-10, never imply faster)*
– “free express” *(was the old USP; gone)*
– “premium” *(prefers “high-quality”)*
– Manufactured urgency: “Only X left!”, “Hurry!”, countdown timers, “limited time”
– Review-begging: “Please leave us a review”
– Salesy intensifiers: “AMAZING!”, “INCREDIBLE!”, multiple exclamation marks
– Corporate jargon: “synergy”, “ecosystem”, “best-in-class”, “industry-leading”
– **”official”** — hard ban (unlicensed Star Wars-inspired; would imply Lucasfilm endorsement)
– **”authentic”** — conditional ban. OK standalone about brand sincerity (“authentic fan-led service”). NEVER paired with “copy”, “replica”, “exact”, “movie-accurate”, or similar (would imply IP reproduction accuracy claim). ✅ “authentic fan service” · ❌ “authentic replica”

## Product

**Catalogue scale:** 1,100 total SKUs / ~350 unique saber models (most rows are variants — Saber Core × blade colour × duelling grade combinations). ~70 helmet models. Variable parts/accessories.

**Category tree** (three tiers):

– **Lightsabers** — by Saber Core tier · by hilt & blade style · by character (~40 named) · by design theme · by movie & show · by faction · Helmet & Lightsaber Bundles · Budget Sabers Under $100
– **Cosplay Helmets** — Light Side, Trooper, Dark Side
– **Parts & Accessories** — Hard Cases, Kits, Necklaces, Pixel Blades, RGB Baselit Blades, Stands
– **Offers & Deals**

**Buying axes:**
– Primary: **Saber Core** tier (S-RGB → RGB-X → SNV4 PRO → Xenopixel V3 → Proffie 2.2, ascending price/feature)
– Secondary: **duelling grade** (Light vs Heavy)
– Tertiary: Bluetooth app connectivity (“XenoConfigurator” iOS/Android)

**Flagship products:** Starkiller SE (3 Saber Cores) · Mace Windu SE · Darth Vader EP6 ROTJ · Clone Wars Ahsoka Tano Duelling · Carbon Strike (Xenopixel V3 exclusive design)

**Key differentiator — baselit Cores at entry-tier price points:** Bluetooth app connectivity, infinite blade colours, and above-baseline sound font counts come standard on ARTSABERS’s RGB-X / S-RGB Cores — where most competitors reserve those features for mid-tier+. Cross-shopping argument; surface on baselit Core PDPs and category copy. *(Pending feature-by-feature validation.)*

## Commercial

– **Business model:** b2c, factory-direct globally
– **Primary markets:** US, CA, AU, NZ
– **Sister brand for UK + EU:** Saber 66 (structural redirect via geo-modal)
– **Currency:** USD primary. CAD, AUD, NZD, EUR, GBP displayed via YayCurrency Pro
– **Price range:** $60 (budget) → $725 (top tier). Central mass $200-$550
– **Payment:** Stripe primary + Mollie for Apple Pay. *BNPL gap remains severe* — at $200-$725 price points with 7-10 day wait, BNPL becomes more critical (softens upfront-payment + delayed-gratification combination). Priority to add.

## Proof (claims + retired claims)

**Approved claims:**
– 1,100 SKUs / ~350 unique saber models — lead claim
– Every character, every Saber Core, every duelling grade
– ARTSABERS Exclusive designs
– Global delivery in 7-10 days
– 24-hour initial response
– Named single point of contact post-purchase
– 30-day money-back guarantee
– Star Wars fan founder (Latvia 2020), acquired by Nerdworks 2024
– Bluetooth app connectivity (XenoConfigurator)

**Retired (visibly no longer used):**
– ❌ Stocked in the USA
– ❌ FREE 2-3 day delivery
– ❌ “We hate dropshipping”

**Flagged for site-rewrite:**
– ⚠ “Rated Excellent on Trustpilot” — claim exists on live site with no widget; also misspelt “Truspilot”. Either install a review widget OR retire the claim.
– ⚠ No customer reviews platform installed — even more critical under factory-direct + 7-10 days. Priority to add.
