THE WORLD OF THIS ERA

A Republic that couldn't see the Sith it had already elected.

By the time Qui-Gon Jinn walked into the Trade Federation blockade, the Republic had already been decaying for a generation. Bureaucracy, senate factions, and the quiet erosion of Jedi authority left the Order looking outward at wars while the Sith prepared inward, at home, in plain sight. The blades of this era belong to that blindness — the last generation of Jedi who trusted the institution around them, and the Sith who used that trust as camouflage.

The Clone Wars split the era in two. Sabers left the Temple in numbers no generation had needed before: Padawans given field commissions, Masters sent to fronts that were designed to keep them off Coruscant, Saber Core variants proliferating across a galaxy that suddenly needed thousands of blades where hundreds had sufficed. Every hilt in this catalogue that carries a Clone-Wars-era name — Anakin's EP2, Obi-Wan's EP3, Mace Windu's duelling grade — was forged in that expansion.

And then Order 66. The whole era ends in a single night, and every one of these blades — Jedi, Sith, and the ones the Sith wore as Jedi — takes on the weight of what came next.
