BBAS12 Build Brief ARTSABERS

Purpose

The ARTSABERS shopping cart — Variant C: “The Bench”. One of three variants. This one takes aggressive minimalism: line items are horizontal compact rows with progressive disclosure for full detail, split shipping shown as per-item info bars (not full section groups), minimal options footprint, no cross-sell strip. Cart feels lean and close to done.

Question this variant asks: does aggressive compactness let the customer feel closer to done, or does the reduced surface leave them feeling under-informed?

Direction

Kyber Hull — apply the direction from SAS1. Reuse the CSS gradient + panel-joint hairline background pattern from MAS51/MAS52. Real ARTSABERS product photography. Zero border-radius sitewide.

Sections (top to bottom)

1. Compact page header

2. Free gift band — unlocked state

Compact horizontal band. Not full ember gradient — more restrained: dark carbon with an ember hairline top border + smaller gift icon.

3. Main cart — line items as compact horizontal rows

NO shipment groups. Items sit in a flat vertical list. Each item carries a compact dispatch tag as part of its own row (e.g. small ember badge “DISPATCH 1 · 12–14 AUG”).

Line-item row shape (each ~120px tall by default, expandable):

Expanded state — when “Show configuration” is clicked, a small inline drawer below the row reveals: full blade spec (colour + type + length + duelling grade), sound fonts count, features (Bluetooth · Smooth swing · Flash on clash · Removable blade), and an “Edit configuration →” link. Mockup should render ONE item in the expanded state so the pattern reads.

Line items:

  1. Carbon Strike Lightsaber – Xenopixel V3 · dispatch tag “DISPATCH 1 · 12–14 AUG” · Blade summary: [○ ember] Ember-orange · Neopixel · 36" · qty 1 · unit $459.99 · https://artsabers.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2026/01/Carbon_Strike_1-768x768.jpg
  2. Starkiller SE Lightsaber – Proffie 2.2 · “DISPATCH 1 · 12–14 AUG” · [○ red] Red · Neopixel · 32" · Duelling · qty 1 · $299.99 · https://artsabers.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2025/12/Starkiller1_SE_1-768x768.jpg · RENDER THIS ONE EXPANDED — the configuration drawer shows: Neopixel Duelling blade, 32″, 34 stock sound fonts + custom, Bluetooth · Smooth swing · Flash on clash · Removable blade, “Edit configuration →” link.
  3. Mace Windu SE Duelling Lightsaber – S-RGB · “DISPATCH 2 · 25 AUG – 2 SEP” · [○ purple] Purple · Baselit · 32" · qty 1 · $164.99 · https://artsabers.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2025/12/Mace_Windu_SE_1-768x768.jpg

Dispatch summary strip — after the line items list, a single compact row summarising both dispatches with delivery upgrade options as a link that expands rather than a full radio group:

4. Options footer row — icon-based, compact

Directly below the line-items area, a horizontal row of small icon-based option toggles. Each icon is a small square with an ember hairline, opens to inline modal-lite on click. Render each icon plus one expanded example.

5. Order summary — right column, ultra-minimal

The most stripped-back summary of the three variants. Just enough to make the CTA a confident action.

6. NO cross-sell strip

Deliberately absent per this variant’s philosophy. Cross-selling belongs on shop / product / thank-you pages; the cart is commit-mode.

7. Post-cart reinforcement band

Same as MAS51. Compact.

8. Site footer

Composite line-item display — Variant C treatment

Two-tier display:

Render the Starkiller SE row expanded to demonstrate the drawer pattern.
