BBAS11 Build Brief ARTSABERS

Purpose

The ARTSABERS shopping cart — Variant B: “The Manifest”. One of three variants. This one reframes the cart as a vertical delivery manifest / timeline — the split-shipping model shown as a chronological schedule of arrivals rather than as side-by-side shipment groups. Items sit against their arrival date on the timeline.

Question this variant asks: does reframing split shipping as a delivery-manifest timeline build more confidence than shipment groups do?

Direction

Kyber Hull — apply the direction from SAS1. Reuse the CSS gradient + panel-joint hairline background pattern from MAS51/MAS52. Real ARTSABERS product photography. Zero border-radius sitewide.

Above the manifest, a compact horizontal row of chip-buttons for the options — coupon / gift wrap / loyalty. This is a signature difference from Variant A: options live ABOVE the cart, not below the total.

4. Delivery manifest — vertical timeline (main content)

The core of this variant. A vertical timeline down the LEFT side of a main content column that spans most of the page width. Timeline markers are dispatch dates; items sit horizontally against their marker.

Structure:

  • Section heading + right-aligned link: Your delivery manifest · ← Continue browsing sabers.
  • Small intro body copy: “Your order ships direct from our workshop in two dispatches. Every hilt is assembled, tuned, and hand-tested before it leaves the factory floor. Here’s the schedule.”

Timeline layout:

  • A vertical ember hairline runs down the left edge of the main content column (say ~120px from the left).
  • Each dispatch is marked by a small ember dot on the timeline + a large heading beside it.
  • Items for that dispatch sit as horizontal cards to the right of the timeline, indented from the marker.
